The addition of Bitcoin increased Simler Scientific's holdings to 3,303 Bitcoin purchased for a total of $290.4 million at an average price of $87,929 per Bitcoin. According to a statement, the market value of Simler Scientific's BTC holdings on April 24 at 4 PM Eastern Time was $309.1 million.
The recent update on the company's BTC holdings came just over a week after it filed a mixed securities offering of $500 million to fund the acquisition of additional Bitcoin. As reported by Bitcoin.com News, the filing allows Simler Scientific to sell debt securities, common stock, and units and primarily use the proceeds to purchase more BTC.
To support its BTC acquisitions, Simler Scientific utilized a newly controlled stock sales agreement. According to its initial agreement with Cantor Fitzgerald, the company issued and sold 2,438,274 shares to achieve net proceeds of approximately $126 million.
