Markets grow nervous as Trump’s 90-day tariff pause hits day 15

The IMF raised the global recession odds to 30% as markets grow uneasy over Trump's stalled tariff pause and worsening trade uncertainty.

With the first 15 days of President Donald Trump's 90-day reciprocal tariff pause ending, the markets are beginning to get nervous. The pause was assumed to give the United States and China room to negotiate trading. However, with no agreements made so far, investor and institutional anxiety has set in.

According to The Kobeissi Letter, the pause is now 17% complete, but there is still uncertainty in the markets. This uncertainty has now risen to the highest level of global economic management.
