#TariffsPause
President Donald Trump stated that he would begin imposing tariffs on countries that fail to reach a trade agreement within a "two or three" week timeframe.
During a press conference on Wednesday in the Oval Office, Trump said he believed that the United States would achieve "good deals" in their trade negotiations.
He did not make the same offer to China. The United States is now imposing tariffs of 145% on goods from China, which retaliated by imposing tariffs of 125% on products made in the United States.
