Sui is a Layer 1 public blockchain network developed by Mysten Labs, which aims to solve the problem of blockchain network validity. Its goal is to achieve instant transfers and provide blockchain services with high throughput, low latency, scalability and security to meet the needs of the rapidly growing market. Mysten Labs was founded by former directors and developers of Novi Research (Meta's advanced encryption technology research and development team) and has rich experience in blockchain research and development. Sui blockchain native token SUI staged a "surge" this week, with a 7-day increase of more than 62%. Today I will introduce to you how to use the GTokenTool one-click coin issuance tool to implement sui coin issuance.
1. Preliminary preparation
Install a Sui compatible wallet
It is recommended to use Suiet wallet or SuiWallet plug-in (Chrome extension needs to be installed) to ensure that the wallet supports Sui network.
Alternative option: OKX Web3 wallet (mobile).
Prepare SUI tokens for gas fees
You need to prepare at least 20 SUI in your wallet to pay for the gas fee of issuing coins.
2. SUI coin issuance steps
1. Visit the GTokenTool platform
Open the Sui chain coin issuance page of GTokenTool: https://sui.gtokentool.com
2. Connect your wallet
Click "Connect Wallet" in the upper right corner of the page, select the installed Suiet or Sui Wallet, and follow the prompts to complete the authorization.
3. Fill in the token parameters
Required information:
Token full name: only supports English and numbers, no more than 32 characters (such as GTokenTool).
Token symbol: 2–8 characters (e.g. GT).
Total supply: Set an upper limit based on precision (e.g. when the precision is 9, the maximum supply is 10 billion).
Precision (number of decimal places): Usually set to 9, affects the smallest unit into which the token can be divided.
Optional information:
Logo: 256×256 pixels, less than 100KB is recommended (you need to wait for the wallet cache to update after uploading).
Description: English description, no more than 320 characters.
4. Pay Gas Fee and Deploy
After confirming that the information is correct, click "Create Token" and the wallet will pop up a transaction signature request.
After the transaction is completed, the platform will generate the smart contract address of the token, which can be queried and confirmed in the Sui blockchain browser.
3. Post-Issuance Management
1. Add tokens to your wallet
Manually add the token contract address in the wallet to view the balance and transaction history.
2. Token Function Management
To issue additional tokens: Use the “Mint” function of GTokenTool to enter the address and quantity for additional issuance (authorization must be retained).
Update information: To modify the token name, logo, etc., you need to operate in the GTokenTool console. After the modification, you may need to wait for the wallet cache to refresh.
3. Listing on decentralized exchanges (DEX)
To add liquidity to supported DEXs such as PancakeSwap and SushiSwap, you need to provide matching funds between SUI and tokens.
IV. Common Problems and Precautions
1. Logo display delay
Suichain tokens have no logo by default and need to be applied for through a wallet or exchange (e.g. MetaMask needs to be configured separately).
2. Token accuracy and supply limit
If the precision is 9, the total supply must not exceed 10 billion, otherwise the additional issuance will fail.
3. Security Recommendations
After the coin issuance is completed, it is recommended to destroy the issuance permission through the "Permission Discard" function of GTokenTool to avoid the risk of malicious issuance.
5. Tool Advantages
1. Multi-chain support: In addition to Sui, GTokenTool is compatible with public chains such as Ethereum, BSC, and Base, providing cross-chain flexibility.
2. Low cost: the lowest price on the entire network.
3. Functional integration: One-stop support for token issuance, airdrops, pledges, market value management, etc., suitable for long-term project operations.
Through the above steps, even novices with no programming experience can quickly create tokens on the Sui chain.
