$ETH 🔧 Technical Updates

The main news is the awaited Pectra update, scheduled for May 7, 2025. This update will introduce 11 Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), aiming to:

• Double the ‘blob’ data capacity per block, which should improve the scalability of Layer 2 solutions.

• Increase the staking limit per validator from 32 ETH to 2,048 ETH, allowing for greater efficiency in block validation.

Additionally, developers are proposing to raise the gas limit to 150 million in the upcoming update called Fusaka, with the goal of improving the network's processing capacity.
