Wall Street is moving lower, at the end of a week full of twists and turns.

The New York Stock Exchange was down on Friday, after three consecutive days in the green, with investors digesting the results of Alphabet (Google), as well as the latest developments on the trade front.

Around 14:30 GMT, the Dow Jones was down 0.78%, the Nasdaq index was near equilibrium (-0.07%), and the broader S&P 500 index fell by 0.35%. "We had such a busy week (...) the market is still digesting the events," estimates Steve Sosnick from Interactive Brokers, speaking to AFP.

On the trade front, the American market has appreciated the more conciliatory tone of Donald Trump regarding the trade war he initiated.
