What is Bubblemaps (BMT)?
Main ideas
Bubblemaps is a blockchain data analytics platform that helps users understand complex on-chain data through interactive visualizations.
The platform organizes data into a simple bubble-based format, making it easy to see token distributions and relationships between cryptocurrency wallets.
The platform's goal is to make access to blockchain data easier and more transparent for everyone.
the introduction
Bubblemaps is a tool that helps people understand blockchain data in a simple way through visual representation. Instead of looking at complex numbers and long lists of transactions, the platform displays the relationships between wallets using bubbles, making it easy to see who owns what and how tokens are transferred.
How Bubblemaps Work
Bubblemaps organize blockchain data into interactive bubble charts. Each bubble represents a wallet, and the larger the bubble, the more tokens it contains. If the bubbles are connected, it means that the wallets have transferred tokens between them. This helps users discover patterns, such as wallet groups that might work together.
First version of Bubblemaps
We will walk through the first version of Bubblemaps to demonstrate its basic functionality.
The first step is to search for a token or wallet address. In this example, we're looking for BMT, the native token of Bubblemaps, available on the Solana and BSC blockchains.
By default, the visualization tool displays the top 150 token holders. Some bubbles belonging to contracts or trading platforms are automatically hidden, but you can reveal them by clicking the eye button next to their title or name.
You can also show or hide multiple contracts and trading platforms using the “Wallet List” at the top.
When selecting a wallet, you can click [View Transfers] to check the blockchain transactions associated with that wallet.
Although the app is not required, users can connect using their X platform accounts or Web3 cryptocurrency wallets, such as Trust Wallet, MetaMask, or Phantom.
Bubblemaps Version 2
Version 2 is an updated version of the Bubblemaps platform that offers better features for tracking token holders and blockchain transactions.
Some of the key features of the second edition include:
Improved Bubble Charts: Bubble charts are now easier to use and feature new tools for improved analytics.
Time travel: Analyzing historical data shows changes in token distribution over time, helping track potentially significant market movements.
Magic nodes: Use artificial intelligence to uncover hidden connections between wallets, which can be useful in detecting fraud.
Filtering and customization: Users can filter data based on token type, transaction amount, and other criteria.
More frequent updates: The platform updates data every six hours to provide the most up-to-date information.
Cross-chain interoperability: Bubblemaps v2 works with multiple blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, and BNB Chain.
The second version of Bubblemaps received over 200,000 accounts in three days, so the team decided to temporarily restrict access to the team, partners, and early adopters. Access is being gradually rolled out to users who signed up for the beta test. New users can join the beta waitlist via the Bubblemaps website.
Is Bubblemaps free?
As of March 2025, Bubblemaps is free to use. Version 2 also includes free features such as magic nodes, time travel, and real-time data.
However, some advanced features are only available to BMT token holders. These include profit and loss calculations, cross-chain analytics, AI models for cluster interpretation, and bubble charts featuring the top 1,000 token holders.
Bubblemaps also offers a premium subscription for unlimited access to DeFi tokens and blockchain data. However, this service is currently limited to eligible users who have been approved before the token transfer on March 10, 2025.
Intelligence Office
The Intelligence Bureau is a platform created to encourage community-led on-chain investigations. It operates as a decentralized token-based system where users stake BMT tokens to vote on which investigations should be prioritized. The Intelligence Bureau's goal is to democratize blockchain analysis.
BMT tokens
BMT are the tokens that power Bubblemaps, and are used for governance (voting on investigations), rewards, and enabling additional features on the platform.
Token Economics
Total Stock: 1,000,000,000 BMT
Coins available for circulation at launch: 261,568,133 BMT (26.15% of total supply)
Blockchain networks: BMT tokens exist on the Solana and BNB Smart Chain networks, using the LayerZero standard for cross-chain fungible tokens (OFT).

BMT tokens in the Binance Free Distribution Program for Holders
On March 18, 2025, Binance announced Bubblemaps (BMT) as the twelfth project in the Binance Free Holder Distribution Program. Users who staked their BNB tokens in Simple Earn or on-chain yield products during the eligibility period are eligible to receive BMT rewards. 30 million BMT tokens have been allocated for the program.
Following the free distribution, BMT tokens were listed on Binance with an “Emerging” tag, making them tradable against USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY.
Concluding thoughts
Bubblemaps is a unique tool that transforms complex blockchain data into easy-to-read visual representations. With features like bubble charts, historical data tracking, and AI-powered portfolio analysis, it helps users spot trends and understand token movements. The Intelligence Bureau and BMT tokens add a community element to the ecosystem, enabling users to participate in investigations and governance.
