$ETH L2 is not a parasitic relationship with Ethereum, but a symbiotic relationship. L2 relies on the security and infrastructure of Ethereum, moving some transactions and computations off-chain or simplifying batch processing to address the scalability issues of the Ethereum main chain, reduce transaction costs, and improve processing speed. At the same time, the development of L2 increases the activity level of Ethereum and the demand for ETH, making Ethereum a better store of value.

The only thing missing is applications!

Ethereum's transition from PoW to PoS consensus mechanism aims to improve energy efficiency and enhance decentralization. However, under the PoS mechanism, the initial token distribution may lead to a few individuals obtaining a large number of low-cost tokens, affecting fairness. The rise of L2 gradually shifts economic interests towards L2 token holders, weakening the incentive to hold ETH as an investment asset, which presents a certain contradiction with Ethereum's economic model. But this does not negate the value of L2!!!
