A Heated Debate Over Crypto’s Future!
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson recently sparked controversy with sharp criticism of Ethereum's core architecture. He pointed out serious flaws in its consensus model, account structure, and Layer 2 solutions — even going as far as calling L2s “parasites” that drain value from the main network.
According to Hoskinson, these structural issues could make it difficult for Ethereum to survive over the next 10–15 years. He compared the platform to once-revolutionary but now obsolete tech giants like MySpace and Blackberry.
The Ethereum community and several industry figures were quick to respond. Helius CEO fired back, saying, “Reach 10% market share first, then start criticizing.” Another developer argued that Ethereum is far from “just a cloud of vapor” and has a solid foundation.
So, what do you think? Is Ethereum really losing its future, or is it still leading the charge in innovation? Which ecosystem do you trust more in the long run?
