#EthereumFuture

Charles Hoskinson just called Ethereum’s L2s “parasitic.” Is he right—or just salty?

In a recent AMA, the Cardano founder slammed Ethereum's economic model, consensus complexity, and Layer 2 strategy. He claims ETH is losing grip as L2s dilute its value. But here’s the twist:

Ethereum’s chaos = innovation.

Danksharding, PBS, rollups—it’s messy, but it’s pioneering.

Sure, some L2s extract value. But many—like Arbitrum and Base—build network effects and feed ETH’s utility. Ethereum’s modular vision is working, and ETH still dominates dev activity, TVL, and innovation.

Cardano? Brilliant on paper. But slow in execution.

My bet? Ethereum leads the next decade. Cosmos and Bitcoin L2s are wildcards.

Cardano needs to speed up or step aside.
