The FBI reported that Americans over 60 years old lost $2.84 billion in cryptocurrency scams in 2024, the highest amount among all age groups.
Total losses from cryptocurrency-related complaints reached $9.3 billion in 149,686 cases, marking a year-over-year increase of 66%.
