The value of Bitcoin decreased on Thursday after rising in the previous session, as investors took some profits after the cryptocurrency reached its highest level in seven weeks.
Despite this decline, Bitcoin remained supported by optimism stemming from signs of easing trade tensions between the United States and its major trading partners.

Bitcoin had risen by about 7% on Wednesday, surpassing the $94,000 barrier to reach its highest level since the beginning of March.
