$TRUMP
Donald Trump’s memecoin, $TRUMP, has recently experienced a significant surge, capturing the attention of the crypto community. On April 23, 2025, the token’s price soared over 50%, reaching $14.70, following an announcement that the top 220 holders would be invited to a private dinner with President Trump at the Trump National Golf Club in Washington on May 22. The top 25 holders will also attend a pre-dinner reception and a VIP White House tour.
The $TRUMP coin, launched shortly before Trump’s inauguration, has been a subject of controversy. It initially spiked from $6 to $75, drawing criticism for leveraging political support for profit. Analysis indicates the project generated at least $350 million from its January debut. Approximately 80% of the tokens are held by CIC Digital, linked to the Trump Organization, and Fight Fight Fight LLC.
As of the latest update, the top holder, identified only as “CASE,” owns 400,000 tokens valued at $5.2 million. The $TRUMP coin is ranked the 37th-largest cryptocurrency by CoinMarketCap and has a current market capitalization of approximately $2.6 billion.
This development underscores the growing intersection between politics and the cryptocurrency market, highlighting how political figures can influence digital asset trends.
