Recent short-term negatives are essentially long-term positives. The long-term benefits of the United States establishing a strategic reserve of Bitcoin are expanding like ripples in water.

The CEO of Metaplanet calls on Japan to follow the United States in establishing a Bitcoin reserve, with an annual yield of 45.1% on Bitcoin.

On March 9, news emerged that Simon Gerovich, the CEO of the Japanese listed company Metaplanet, called on Japan to follow the United States in establishing a Bitcoin reserve and to transform Japan into a 'global Bitcoin superpower'.

He revealed that the company has achieved a Bitcoin yield of 45.1% so far in 2025, with an acquisition price of approximately $240.2 million and an average purchase price of about $83,172.

Japan in Asia has started to FOMO into Bitcoin strategic reserves, and soon we will see more countries in Europe and elsewhere following the United States' lead.

At this point, if you are Honduras, Mexico, or Guatemala, seeing that El Salvador and now the United States are purchasing Bitcoin, can you really bear having a zero holding?

What will Russia and China react to?

Last week's announcement, although not perfect, marks the first time the United States has recognized Bitcoin as a strategic asset. As long as this point remains unchanged, in my view, this is a game-changing event.
