PancakeSwap is introducing cool updates that will take effect from April 23, 2025. Here’s what you need to know:
Goodbye, veCAKE and voting!
Now all your locked tokens will be unlocked and available for withdrawal.
Staking limits removed!
You can withdraw your CAKE and veCAKE without penalties! The withdrawal period is 6 months, until October 23, 2025.
Bonuses are going away!
Farm boosters and revenue sharing are being canceled, and the funds will be used for token burning to reduce supply and increase value.
Emission reduction
The issuance of CAKE tokens will be reduced from 40,000 to 22,500 per day. This will make them scarce!
Simplified governance
Now rewards will be distributed by the PancakeSwap team instead of through voting.

Do not withdraw your CAKE until May 7, 2025, to receive the last rewards. After that, you have 6 months for withdrawal!
