Yesterday, my friend Xaif_Crypto noticed 3 strange deposits in my wallet:
5,000,000 SHIB
540 USDC (with a sketchy short link)
200 USDT
At first, I thought I hit the jackpot. But nope โ it was a honeypot attack!
Scammers send fake tokens or bait funds to trick you into clicking malicious links or triggering smart contracts that can drain your wallet.
What You MUST Do:
NEVER click links attached to tokens (especially short links like t.ly/...)
DONโT try to swap or move suspicious tokens without checking them
Use Etherscan / BSCScan to verify any unexpected transaction or token
Remember:
If it looks too good to be true โ itโs a trap.
