Evgeny Masharov a member of Russia’s Civic Chamber has proposed a ban on crypto exchangers accepting cash claiming that such a move would significantly enhance efforts to combat phone and online fraud.
In addition Masharov recommended a complete ban on the use of cryptocurrencies as a means of payment.
He further suggested the establishment of a state regulated cryptocurrency exchange built upon existing trading platforms, and overseen by the Central Bank of Russia. $BTC $SOL
