Fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) is simply "data can work even if it wears an encryption helmet" - for example, hospital A and hospital B want to cooperate in researching medical records, but no one wants to disclose the privacy of their own patients. With FHE, the data can be encrypted throughout the process and can be calculated together, and only the results will be released without revealing the bottom card, which perfectly solves the problem of "cooperation and prevention of peeking".

Now this project called MindNetwork has combined FHE and AI to play new tricks. They have created an "encrypted AI ID card" to allow AI to have privacy protection when working, such as AI decision-making in financial transactions. The strategy is encrypted throughout the process, and even the server cannot see your bottom card, completely eliminating the background from secretly changing the rules. What's more, they also cooperated with the open source big model DeepSeek, using the FHE Rust SDK to add an "anti-theft lock" to AI training, and even the training data can be encrypted and processed, making the AI ​​model more credible.

The landing scenarios are also very practical: for example, in DAO voting, large investors do not need to expose their addresses and votes, and the system automatically encrypts the results, so whales no longer have to worry about being targeted; in the game, the platform can't see your cards but can settle fairly, and no longer be afraid of black box operations; even the government can check black money without looking at the privacy of legal transactions, and directly and accurately snipe problematic assets.

However, FHE is not without shortcomings. The current computing power cost is ridiculously high, and complex calculations can slow down by 1 million times, but don't panic! MindNetwork has pulled in a hardware acceleration team and also launched "remote staking" to lower the threshold for participation. The test network has attracted 650,000 users to swipe 3.2 million transactions. It is not a dream to dilute the cost in the future. Vitalik Buterin said that this technology can become the cornerstone of the next generation of the Internet.
