The wallet contained: driver's license, passport, DHS pass, checks, credit cards, cosmetics, medications, and about $3000 in cash.
According to sources, including law enforcement officials, the incident occurred yesterday evening at The Capital Burger. Noem's purse was on the floor next to her.
The Secret Service is conducting an investigation, reviewing footage from surveillance cameras and trying to track the stolen items.
