* This acquisition brings Strategy's total Bitcoin holdings to 538,200 coins, funded through stock offerings - a strategy that has financed the bulk of the company's cryptocurrency holdings.

* Further purchases from Strategy have helped improve some sentiment toward Bitcoin, although the cryptocurrency was still suffering from declines from the record levels it reached earlier this year.
