For this on going Tariff War. Fair Value Gap(FVG) is most important factor at-least according to me. #TARIFF #FVG

What is an FVG (Fair Value Gap)?

An FVG is a price imbalance or inefficiency left on the chart when the market moves too quickly, leaving behind a 3-candle formation where the middle candle's wick doesn’t fill the gap between the first and third candle.

To keep it simple for you:

FVG Type Top of Zone Bottom of Zone

-Bullish FVG Candle 1 High (wick) Candle 3 Low (wick).

-Bearish FVG Candle 1 Low (wick) Candle 3 High (wick).

Which FVG is best to trade?

🔹 Best FVG for Bullish Trades:

Bullish FVG formed in an uptrend

Found after a higher low

Aligns with OB (Order Block) or support zone

Ideally, it's a higher time frame FVG (H1, H4, Daily) respected on lower time frames (M15, M5)

🔸 Best FVG for Bearish Trades:

Bearish FVG formed in a downtrend

Found after a lower high

Aligns with resistance or bearish order block

High time frame FVGs provide stronger confluence.

🔁Entry Example: Bullish FVG

Let’s say we’re on a 1-hour chart (H1):

Price breaks above previous high

Forms a Bullish FVG

Comes back down to fill the gap

Now on M5:

You see a bullish pin bar or MSB

You enter → SL below FVG zone → TP at recent high

🔁 Entry Example: Bearish FVG

1-hour chart:

Market forms a Lower High

Creates Bearish FVG

Price retraces into it

On M5:

You spot a bearish engulfing candle

SL above FVG zone

TP to next liquidity zone or previous low

⚡Pro Tip (Entry Style):

Use lower time frame confirmation inside the FVG:

Price taps into the FVG zone

Shows rejection (pin bar, engulfing)

Break of internal structure = Entry

⚠️ When NOT to Trade an FVG

Counter-trend setups

No market structure break

No confirmation candle

Weak FVG zones

Stack of gaps = confusion

Highlight each and every FVG than for Bullish FVG choose lowest FVG. For Bearish use highest FVG make sure other factors also support your chosen FVG.
