Viewpoint: BTC is unaffected by the U.S. stock market crash, a "strong signal" of market sentiment maturity.
According to Golden Finance, as the U.S. stock market declines, the price of Bitcoin has risen to around $86,800, increasing by 2.3% in the past 24 hours. Considering that the S&P 500, Nasdaq, and Dow Jones indices fell by 3.35%, 3.5%, and 3.27%, respectively, the resilience of the cryptocurrency market is noteworthy.Macro-economic expert and former head of macro strategy at Industrial Bank in the U.S., Lawrence McDonald, stated that it might be time to sell gold and invest in Bitcoin instead. He posted on X: "With the volatility index (VIX) close to 30, Bitcoin has never performed so well. The resilience of Bitcoin will change the market landscape. This strongly indicates that the Bitcoin market is maturing (good news), and the fiat currency dollar is under tremendous pressure."
