$XRP Ripple has officially announced the acquisition of Hidden Road, one of the largest prime brokers in the world. It currently processes over 10 billion USD per day and has over 300 institutional clients – including hedge funds, banks, and family offices.

What does this acquisition mean?

Ripple is bringing this gigantic trading volume directly to the XRP Ledger (XRPL) – and is relying on the upcoming stablecoin RLUSD for settlement.

Why this is a game changer

Hidden Road currently takes up to 24 hours for global settlements. With the XRPL, this will only take 3–5 seconds in the future – and with almost zero fees.

Please like this post if you believe that XRP is finally entering the infrastructure phase it was built for!

Mathematically speaking: XRP over 100 USD? (No FOMO, pure calculation)

The annual volume of Hidden Road is 2.5 trillion USD. If only a fraction of that runs through the XRPL, the following potential arises:

Usage Scenario

Fair XRP price (at 54 billion circulation)

100% Volume, 1x Valuation - 46 USD

100% Volume, 3x Valuation - 138 USD

100% Volume, 5x Valuation - 231 USD

And yes – this also applies if the settlement is conducted via RLUSD. Because XRP remains the central settlement token in the background.

What does this mean for the market?

With this acquisition, Ripple is setting the course for a global financial network that could make traditional settlement obsolete. XRP is transitioning from a speculative asset to a digital bridge between banks, exchanges, and assets.
