Life Found Beyond Earth

The James Webb Telescope detected substances in the atmosphere of the exoplanet K2-18b that are produced only by living organisms on Earth—dimethyl sulfide and dimethyl disulfide.

Their concentration turned out to be so high that scientists are seriously saying: the planet "teems with life." K2-18b is referred to as a "Super Earth"—it is 2.5 times larger than ours and is located 124 light years away.
