Mainnet Migration Roadmap

Pi Network’s Mainnet migration is a complex, phased process designed to ensure accuracy, fairness, and security for tens of millions of users. Unlike typical airdrops, Pi’s migration is based on years of verified mining data.

Migration Phases:

  1. Initial Migrations: Includes verified base mining, Security Circle rewards, lockups, utility app rewards, and Node rewards.

  2. Second Migrations: Adds referral bonuses from verified team members.

Periodic Migrations: Future migrations will occur regularly (e.g. monthly), including all rewards.

Note: The “Transferable Balance” shown in the app is an estimate — actual migrated Pi is precisely calculated based on historical activity.

Pi Tokenomics & Supply

  • Max Supply: 100 billion Pi

    • 65% for community mining

    • 10% for foundation reserve

    • 5% for liquidity

    • 20% for Core Team

All allocations scale with the rate of migrated community rewards, keeping the token distribution balanced and fair.

Effective Supply is calculated by dividing current migrated rewards by 65%, with other allocations adjusted proportionally.

Mining Mechanic

Pi uses a declining issuance model based on real user contributions — not hardware power. Rewards depend on:

  • Security Circles

  • Utility app usage

  • Node operation

  • A base mining rate caps total monthly issuance, promoting long-term value and decentralization.

Conclusion

Pi Network is focused on migrating all verified users securely while maintaining a balanced, community-driven token economy. Its roadmap and tokenomics aim to ensure sustainability, utility, and fairness as it enters the Open Network phase.
