🔔 Important Updates from Pi Network: Mainnet Migration and Tokenomics Explained
On April 17, 2025, the Pi Network team published a detailed article about the progress of the Mainnet migration and provided clarifications regarding Pi tokenomics. Here are the key highlights:
🚀 Mainnet Migration: Phases and Priorities
1. Completion of Initial Migrations
The team is finalizing the migration of Pioneers in the queue, including base mining rewards, Security Circle rewards, lockup rewards, app usage rewards, and confirmed Node rewards.
2. Secondary Migration with Referral Bonuses
After the initial phase, they will proceed to migrate referral bonuses for team members who have passed KYC.
3. Ongoing Periodic Migrations
Moving forward, Pi Network will implement regular migrations (monthly or quarterly), covering all types of bonuses and rewards.
Note: Differences between the transferable balance shown in the user interface and the actual migrated balance are intentional, as the interface uses simplified estimations to save time and computational resources.
💰 Pi Tokenomics: Distribution and Total Supply
The maximum supply of Pi is 100 billion tokens, distributed as follows:
65% for community mining rewards
10% for the foundation reserve
5% for liquidity
20% for the core team
Each allocation follows the pace of migrated community mining rewards, keeping consistent proportions in the total supply.
