$SOL Uncle Park Hae Joon recounts his experience playing the role of an unfaithful husband in The World of Marriage, fortunate that he didn’t get scolded while out in public. However, while filming When Life Gives Me Lemons, he felt that people looked at him with pity, as they all approached him for autographs with teary eyes.
The director also mentioned the reason for choosing him for the role of a middle-aged man: "Among the people I know, he is the kindest. That’s why I chose Park Hae Joon."
He also shared that his two children don't watch the movies he stars in, but this time they did. While watching, they kept calling him non-stop, asking him: "Dad, are you okay?" because they saw a scene of him lying in a hospital bed.
He further mentioned that when filming with IU, it was very comfortable and natural, saying whatever came to mind. Later, IU invited him to watch her concert. When he attended the concert, he was shocked by IU's performance, as he had only been to a concert once before and hadn’t gone back since.
He remarked that the girl who used to curl up in a corner and doze off during regular films could fill a stage and sing for four hours straight. He found IU incredibly cool, almost like a goddess, not an ordinary person.
Since then, he felt a bit embarrassed around IU and even asked her for an autograph. He said it was fortunate that he filmed before going to the concert; otherwise, he would have felt a lot of pressure.
