Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said on Thursday that China is a critically important market for the company, and this comes after the United States imposed a ban on sales of artificial intelligence chips to China.
Huang stated during a meeting with the Chairman of the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Ren Hongbin, that we hope to continue our cooperation with China.

The Chinese News Agency 'Xinhua' reported that Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng told Huang during their meeting in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Thursday that China welcomes more American companies, including Nvidia, to explore the Chinese market further.
Xinhua News Agency reported Huang as saying that China, with its tremendous potential for investment and consumption, has been a fertile ground for investment and trade by foreign companies.
Huang arrived in Beijing earlier today at the invitation of the trade organization, and his visit comes at a time when the United States has imposed new restrictions on shipments of Nvidia's graphics processing units heading to China, which is the only AI chip that the company can sell to China that meets the standards.
The U.S. ban has created uncertainty among Chinese internet companies, which were still expecting shipments of the H20 chip by the end of the year.
