#PowellRemarks The chairman of the American Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, stated that cryptocurrencies have become more commonplace due to regulatory climate change.

He indicated that Congress (in both chambers, the Senate and the House of Representatives) is working on developing a legal framework for stablecoins.

He said: "Depending on what it contains, it's a good idea. We need it. There is currently no legal framework."
