In April 2025, the company acquired 319 BTC for $26.3 million, bringing its total Bitcoin reserves to 4525 BTC, which amounts to approximately $336 million. Metaplanet uses the BTC Yield metric to assess the growth of Bitcoin per share, achieving 309.82% in the fourth quarter of 2024. The company plans to increase its reserves to 10,000 BTC by the end of 2025 and to 21,000 BTC by 2026, employing options strategies and debt financing.
