The competition among POS public chains is quite fair; their economic models are not precious metals for value storage, but rather traditional demand-based currencies.
Talking too much about so-called technological paradigms is meaningless; at least at this stage, the only applications are asset issuance and asset pricing. Only public chains that dominate asset issuance and hold the power of asset pricing can capture value similar to the hegemony of the US dollar.
