1. Let’s chat for a while

I just said in the group that I want to write a second article about ways for ordinary people to make money in the cryptocurrency circle. Bitsha said I should write it, it is very valuable. Although I am a little tired today, I got up at 7 o'clock in the morning and have only had some free time now. But my eyes are still dry from looking at the computer for a long time. I washed my face, turned on the computer and started typing.

In addition, when the first article was sent out yesterday, group members said that they read it carefully for half an hour and gained a lot. It feels great to receive recognition for this kind of article and to be able to provide some inspiration to others.

2. Why sell courses?

Let’s look at a few cases first.

1. Blue Star sold airdrop courses, charging $100 and sold more than $30,000.

After the Chinese New Year in 2022, I posted some airdrop tutorials on Twitter and YouTube. I would start recording as soon as I got a project, and solve any problems I encountered in the middle. For example, the Galaxy Girl video took me almost 2 hours to finish, and the video was released directly without any editing.

Many people later told me that it was the first time they followed the operation from beginning to end, and some problems did not appear in the video. They didn’t know how to solve them, so they stopped and followed it again from the beginning to make sure it was exactly the same. You all know the result later. Gal was listed on Binance, and the token given by a Galaxy Girl NFT can be sold for about 25,000 RMB, and the cost of one NFT is about 1,000 US dollars.

Then I spent about 5 days writing the airdrop course. This course was also used to train the newbies in our airdrop studio at the time. After a simple post on Twitter, about 50 people bought it.

Several of those who bought it have now become big KOLs, with many more followers than I do.

Do you think I have ever achieved great results on airdrops?

No.

These are all small results that have not been replicated on a large scale.

The reason why I dare to sell it is because I know that for a newcomer, my course is totally worth the price.

This is indeed the case. Almost everyone who bought this course did not ask for a refund. Instead, they felt it was worth it.

How did I sell it at that time?

I first sent a message on Twitter saying that I would make an airdrop course, what it would include, and the price would be $100. If you paid before I started writing, the price would be $50. If you are interested, please send me a private message on Twitter.

The above step is called testing whether there are potential customers.

I add all those who have paid to the Telegram group. When they are added to a group, there will be a herd effect and they won’t worry about being cheated.

I started writing the course only after I received $500 and had 10 potential customers.

How to write a course?

In fact, I am more of a summarizer, because most of the content can actually be found, but no one has done a systematic sorting. I listed the framework, and then used the framework to find information and solutions, and then wrote it down in plain language. It's that simple.

While writing, I was sending content information to the Telegram group and also posting on Twitter. Then some people came to me and asked how I could sell courses when I was an unknown person and everything was shared for free on Twitter. I simply blocked such people and did not argue with them.

After I finished writing, there were more than 50 people in the group, including Xiye, who paid $100 and even came to Jiangxi to meet me. The cost of dinner and drinks that night exceeded $100. In the words of Airdrop, I was ripped off by Xiye.

After that, I haven’t posted any information about airdrop courses on Twitter. They were all recommended by friends, and then I directly threw the documents to them and told them that if they have the ability to study on their own, they don’t need to pay and can just read the documents directly. Why?

Because I hadn’t recorded the operation video at that time, haha.

Then they were told that if they wanted to pay to watch the operation video, they would have to pay $100 first, and the video would be sent to them in a few days.

It provides them with two options, one is free and the other is paid.

Oh, by the way, at that time, not many people on Twitter knew how to install a ladder with one click using code. My tutorial on how to install a ladder with one click for 100 yuan and that could be used for a year received quite a lot of traffic.

When selling courses, you will meet all kinds of people, so if you want to really develop a business, you can only unite those who support you and stay away from those who sneer at you.

Some people got the course documents for free and would say thank you, some would add me on WeChat and send me a red envelope to express their gratitude, some would say that the document alone was worth $500 after reading the course documents and directly asked me to give them an address and transfer $100 to them, and some would just make cold remarks on Twitter, saying that I was taking advantage of them, and some would ask me if I could send them the video for free after getting the course documents. I said no and they blocked me directly.

There are all kinds of people, and human hearts are so complicated that people who have no sales experience will never understand.

Later on, I made the airdrop courses public, because these contents can be found basically everywhere. Until now, there are still people who have watched my courses from somewhere and then come to add me on WeChat. This is really incredible. It shows that content that is made with heart can continue to attract customers.

In 2022, there are still some people who rely on my course to adapt and create KOL accounts. This is what I will tell my students. I encourage you to become KOLs. You can adapt my content at will, or even copy it directly. I will not pursue copyright.

Overall, this is the experience.

Anyway, the results were okay for me. Not only did I make money by selling courses, but I also became good friends with a lot of people. Later, when I started my other businesses, many people also supported me.

So if you are reading this article, look at the actual case above and summarize the process, it is as follows:
First, output content) Accumulate a certain number of fans) Test purchasing intention) Reach the minimum number of starting customers) Start offering courses) Deliver) Customer recommendations) Publish courses for free) The course will include your contact information) Continue to acquire customers.

2. Mingge sells DeFi training

Who is Brother Ming?

He is the one who wrote the support system theory. He is also the former co-founder of TRON and a top student at Peking University. His theory of local dog lottery flow made many people make money. In 2017, because Justin Sun did not give the promised equity, he had a quarrel with Sun Ge. At that time, I was still a newcomer in the cryptocurrency circle of Blue Star, and I met Ming Ge in Sister Yuer’s group.

Later, DeFi Summer emerged. As a veteran in the cryptocurrency circle who entered the circle in 2013, Ming Ge naturally kept an eye on industry trends. For those who have never been exposed to the chain, DeFi is a very new thing. So Ming Ge posted a circle of friends, saying that he would organize an offline training class, with each person paying 4,000 US dollars to teach DeFi. If it were you, would you say, "Is it crazy? What the hell? The training fee is 4,000 US dollars."

If you think so, then you missed the DeFi summer. Why? That year, the various airdrops of the DeFi protocol alone exceeded $100,000.

I remember very clearly that I asked the investor of the airdrop studio to get dydx. Although I asked the official staff in discord several times, they all said that there was no airdrop.

At that time, the gas fee for interacting with dydx was expensive, costing about $200 per interaction. Because of this fee, the investors said they would not continue to invest because they could not afford it. But guess what, the airdrop for one account was $15,000 worth of dydx, and the miner Lao Ma made 100 million from the dydx airdrop.

After the airdrop, the investors said that they regretted not buying dydx in bulk, but there is no medicine for regret in the world. Just like this afternoon, a friend called me several times and said that he missed dark. Are there any other memes to recommend? I can only say sorry, because the friend who sent me a private message with about 7 million at the time did not buy in, and he did not dare to chase it when the price went up. I understand his feelings.

I don’t know exactly how many students Mingge enrolled in his DeFi training class and how much money he made, because I was not there, but he definitely made money.

Do you think it’s difficult?

As of now, almost everyone in the cryptocurrency world knows how to use DeFi. It’s just that it’s new enough and people are too lazy to research it, so it can be sold at this price. In hindsight, as long as you follow the instructions, the airdrop alone will be several times the tuition fee.

Brother Ming is selling training with his own private traffic. Next, I will show you how to sell with public traffic.

3. Higer sells DeFi courses

Higer is the founder of that study group. I paid to join the group in 2017. Now there are many elderly people in the group, and they all have big jobs.

It is said that he is proficient in Bitcoin and it was translated and published by Higer and others.

Having written this far, it would be better to publish a book to sell your ideas to people outside the circle. Things that seem trivial to people in the circle will, once published as a book, make many people think you are awesome, such as books on the metaverse and NFT.

Higer sells DeFi courses. He used channels such as Qianliao and Huobi University. At that time, I saw that the price of a set of courses was 299 yuan. I feel that this price is because Higer might have studied DeFi a little later, otherwise he should be able to sell it for 899.

At that time, the sales volume on Qianliao alone was probably over 2 million. Excluding the share from the platform, I must have received 500,000 RMB.

You say it is difficult, but it is actually not that difficult. You connect with these channels, and when they see that you have some influence, they will provide them with courses to watch. The bulk of sales go to the channels, and defi is a hot spot. Many people don’t know how to operate it at all. You write it first, and you find the channel first, then the platform will promote you.

If you put some guiding copy below the course, it will sell better. Refer to the row of comments below the advertisement in the official account. Each one is a guiding copy that has been tested in actual combat.

Higer promotes courses through channels and then makes money by doing nothing. Isn't that comfortable? Are you envious?

There is no use in being envious, just start doing it yourself. Even if you are an ordinary person, you can refer to my first case to acquire customers and sell courses.

3. Smart you, have you figured out how to do it?

Have you carefully read the above cases and summarized any rules or what to do?

Looking at the timeline, DeFi is in 2019 and 20 years, airdrops are in 21 and 22 years, chain games and NFTs are in 22 and 23 years, and then there are inscriptions.

What about the past year?

meme !

So you see, I have been mainly playing with memes in the past year, and even the paid groups are meme groups.

Wherever there is a story of getting rich quickly, there is the trend, where there is traffic, where there are people, there is money.

The courses you need to create should be in this direction!

Now that the course is ready, how do I sell it?

Remember the process in the Blue Star case?

Output content first) Accumulate a certain number of fans) Test purchase intention) Reach the minimum number of starting customers) Start offering courses) Deliver) Customer recommendations) Release courses for free) The course contains your contact information) Continue to acquire customers

Let me tell you a true story. When running shoes were very popular, you could make 800 yuan per person just by teaching people how to buy running shoes. If someone picked good running shoes that suited his financial situation, you could charge more than 3,000 yuan!

The key to the problem is not whether you can sell it, but whether you are willing to do it. Even if you are an ordinary person, when something new starts to become popular, you just need to make a tutorial and you can take advantage of its potential energy and ride on the wind to the sky, which is what is meant by soaring into the sky like a roc flying 90,000 miles.

This is the reason why I recorded the Axiom video. I took advantage of Axiom's potential because there was no Chinese version at the time. Recording a tutorial would definitely attract traffic. I worked until after 3 a.m. and finally recorded the tutorial video. As you can see, the traffic was amazing.

The only thing we need to reflect on is that Lan Xing didn't put enough effort into writing long push posts, otherwise the traffic would have probably exploded even more.

Having said that, it is great if you can produce and sell courses first. It is even better if you can combine channels to sell courses. It is also great to add commissions from user recommendations. It is even better if you can set up a group and convert people who buy your courses into WeChat friends. If you treat people sincerely and make others psychologically think that your courses are of great value, then it is even better. Congratulations, you can sell your other businesses to them too.

If you have relevant experience and can produce courses, but don’t know how to sell them, please feel free to contact me. If the course is really good, I will help you promote it. As the support system says, we support people who deserve support. You have produced the course, which proves that you are a person worthy of support. I just can’t guarantee the quantity. But you don’t lose anything. After all, you have one more exposure channel, don’t you think?
