Not long ago, I got a DM from someone pretending to be a Binance admin, offering “early access” to an exclusive airdrop. All I had to do? Connect my wallet.

At first glance, it looked legit… but something didn’t sit right.

Here’s what helped me dodge the scam:

• I checked the profile — no verification, recently created.

• I cross-checked with Binance’s official channels — there was no such airdrop.

The takeaway?

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Avoid clicking on links in DMs, and always verify through official sources.
