Received a DM Containing a Crypto Investment Offer? That's an Old Modus Operandi!

#BinanceSafetyInsights

Be careful if you suddenly receive a DM from a foreign account offering crypto investments—especially if they say 'quick profit, just a small capital'.

This is usually a scam disguised as 'help' or 'mentorship'.

This modus operandi is often referred to as Pig Butchering, where the victim is slowly lured, encouraged to deposit, and then... the funds are taken away!

Characteristics:

Luxurious profile, often flaunting profits

Claims to be a successful trader or part of a crypto project

Asks you to install certain apps or transfer USDT

Protect yourself:

Do not trust DMs from foreign accounts

Do not install apps from outside the Play Store/App Store

Do not send funds to unknown individuals!

Crypto is not a shortcut to getting rich. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is not real.
