😭 Crypto Enthusiast Robbed of Over $100,000 During a Zoom Call

When Emblem Vault CEO Jake Gallen joined a Zoom call with a supposedly "well-known blogger," he had no idea he'd end the meeting down nearly 75% of his crypto portfolio in BTC and ETH.

During the call, he installed a "helpful file" that turned out to be a Trojan horse. The hackers gained full access to his wallets. The theft was carried out by the ELUSIVE COMET gang, a group posing as a venture fund and scamming people out of millions of dollars.

By the way, Zoom allows remote access to participants by default. So check your settings if you don't want your crypto walking off into someone else's hands. And if someone sends you a file on Zoom — don’t open or install it.
