I see it all the time. People FOMO in when prices are up, panic when they drop, and only return at new all-time highs.

Many jumped into the markets at the 2021 peak, ignored them when assets were cheap in 2022–2024, then rushed back in at new highs in 2025.

Meanwhile, the winners kept buying the whole time.
