1) Monad is a high-performance, layer-one (L1) blockchain compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

It can process up to 10,000 transactions per second, providing speed and scalability.

The testnet is already live, and participation in it will allow for an airdrop of $MON tokens.

Monad has raised $244 million in investment.

The lead investor is Paradigm, with Hivemind Capital, Electric Capital, Castle Island Ventures, and other prominent funds also participating.

The funding supports blockchain development, testnet launch, and mainnet preparation.

2) Eclipse is a Layer 2 (L2) blockchain on Ethereum that uses the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) for fast and cheap transactions.

Provides scalability through parallel processing and maintains Ethereum security. Testnet is active, mainnet launched in November 2024.

Supports DeFi, NFTs, and gaming, combining the advantages of Ethereum and Solana.

Eclipse raised $65 million from investors.

The Seed round ($15 million) in 2022 was led by Tribe Capital and Tabiya.

The Series A round ($50 million) in 2024 was led by Placeholder and Hack VC, with participation from Polychain Capital, Delphi Digital, Maven 11, and Fenbushi Capital.

3) Soon is a Layer 2 rollup solution on Solana that uses the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) for high performance and low cost.

Offers scalability up to 10,000 transactions per second, compatibility with multiple blockchains (Ethereum, Polygon), and security through auditing and cryptography.

Testnet active, mainnet planned for 2025. Supports dApps in DeFi and gaming.

Soon (Solana Optimistic Network) raised $60 million through an NFT sale.

The round was led by Hack VC, with investors including ABCDE, Anagram, Hypersphere, SNZ Capital, ArkStream Capital, GeekCartel, PAKA, Web3Port, MH Ventures, IDG Capital, as well as key individuals from Solana Labs and Coinbase Ventures.

4) Succinct is a project that uses zero-knowledge proofs (ZK) to improve the scalability and security of blockchains.

It provides SP1 - a fast zkVM for development, a decentralized network of provers for processing calculations, and supports integration with Ethereum, Solana, etc.

The testnet is active, the main goal is to simplify the creation of dApps with fast transactions and low costs.

Succinct raised $55 million from Paradigm (seed and Series A round leader), Robot Ventures, Bankless Ventures, Geometry, ZK Validator.

Angels include Sreeram Kannan (EigenLayer), Sandeep Nailwal and Daniel Lubarov (Polygon), John Adler (Celestia).

5) Initia is an L1 network in the Cosmos ecosystem, combining Layer 1 technology with L2 infrastructure based on Optimistic Rollups.

Allows developers to create scalable blockchains for applications (Minitias) with support for MoveVM, EVM and WasmVM.

Provides interoperability through IBC, eliminates the complexities of modular systems. Testnet is active, mainnet planned for 2025.

Initia raised $25 million in a seed round from Delphi Ventures and Hack VC. Binance Labs (pre-seed), Nascent, Figment Capital, Big Brain, ACapital participated.

Angels included Cobie, DCF God, Zaheer Ebtikar, Fiskantes, WSB Mod, Nick White (Celestia).
