Stop Loss Strategy trading ka ek bohot important hissa hai jo tumhara capital protect karta hai. Iska basic concept hai ke agar market tumhari against jaye, to system ya tum khud ek fixed point par trade band kar do — taa ke zyada nuksan na ho.
Stop Loss Strategy Samajhne Se Pehle:
Tumhe ye cheezein clear honi chahiye:
Tumhara risk tolerance kitna hai? (Har trade par kitna loss afford kar saktay ho?)
Tumhari trading style kya hai? (Day trader ho, swing trader ya scalper?)
Common Stop Loss Strategies:
1. Percentage-Based Stop Loss
Har trade par tum decide karte ho ke total capital ka kitna % risk karna hai.
Example:
Agar tumhara account $1000 ka hai aur tum 2% risk karte ho, to har trade par max $20 ka risk hoga.
2. Technical Stop Loss
Yeh market structure ke basis par hota hai:
Support/Resistance ke neeche/uper lagaya jata hai.
Moving Average ke neeche/uper
Previous swing high/low ke pass
Example: Agar price support ke upar hai, to SL support ke neeche lagao.
3. ATR-Based Stop Loss (Advanced)
ATR (Average True Range) price ki volatility measure karta hai.
Agar ATR zyada hai, to wide SL; agar kam hai, to tight SL.
Formula:
SL = Entry Price ± (ATR x Multiplier)
(Jahan ± ka matlab buy/sell position pe depend karta hai)
4. Time-Based Stop Loss
Agar price expected move nahi kar raha within a certain time, to trade exit kar do.
Ye scalpers ya day traders ke liye useful hota hai.
Stop Loss Lagate Waqt Ye Ghaltiyan Mat Karo:
Emotions se SL change na karo (Matlab SL lagane ke baad “shayad reverse ho jaye” soch ke hata na dena)
Too tight SL se market chhoti move mein hi SL hit kar deta hai.
SL na lagana — ye sabse bara risk hai.
