Exclusive trading strategy #btc- #ETF from #INVESTIDEAUA @INVESTIDEAUA Market against #Matrixport: New Review
The inconsistency of the forecasts provided by Matrixport has sparked debate about the competence and reliability of the analytics provided by the company. Eric Balchunas, an analyst from Bloomberg, expressed his opinion on this matter. He noted that there is currently no indication that the SEC will reject applications to launch spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US, contrary to claims made in the Matrixport report. Balciunas also asked the report's author for more information about its sources.
Markus Thillen responded to this request by stating that he had no inside information. He clarified that his negative analysis of spot Bitcoin ETFs is based on an overall assessment of the situation.

The crypto investing community immediately accused Thillen of spreading #FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt). Many argue that the analyst is trying to profit from his publications: he first supported the growth with a positive forecast, and then went short to profit from the fall in the price of Bitcoin.
Balchunas noted a contradiction in the arguments, pointing out that the SEC continues to process applications to launch spot Bitcoin ETFs even during the holidays. There have also been reports of additional regulatory meetings with trading platforms, indicating the SEC is ready to approve spot Bitcoin ETFs, according to the analyst.
The founder of the mining company Bitmain, Jihan Wu, came to the defense of Marcus Thillen, noting that the analyst simply changed his forecast. However, Wu chose not to comment further and closed comments on his post.
Let us remember that news about Bitcoin ETFs previously caused a stir in the market. In the past, in October 2023, fake news about the approval of this tool led to the growth of BTC. This news was published by Cointelegraph magazine. Now there is a joke in the investor community that this time the journalist from Cointelegraph who published the fake is unavailable, and therefore the Matrixport team has taken on the role of “news distributor.”
