Surah Al-Fatiha: It is the Mother of the Book and a fundamental pillar in prayer, encompassing praise of Allah, His oneness, and seeking guidance from Him.
* Surah Al-Ikhlas: It is equivalent to one-third of the Quran due to its pure monotheism to Allah the Almighty and negation of partners with Him.
* Surah Al-Mulk: It is reported that it intercedes for its reciter until he is forgiven and saves him from the punishment of the grave.
* Surah Al-Kahf: It is reported that reading it brings light to its reciter between the two Fridays and provides protection from the trial of the Antichrist.
* Surah Ya-Sin: It is referred to as "The Heart of the Quran," and there are hadiths (most of which are weak) regarding its virtue for fulfilling needs and facilitating matters.
* Surah Al-Falaq: It is one of the two chapters for seeking refuge, and it is reported to be one of the most beloved chapters to Allah, used for seeking refuge from evils.
The most important aspect of reading a specific Surah is:
* Reflection: Understanding the verses and contemplating them.
* Action: Applying what is mentioned in the Quran in our daily lives.
* Sincerity: Reading the Quran with a pure intention for the sake of Allah the Exalted.
The more the heart of the Muslim is present while reading the Quran, and the more his understanding and application increase, the closer he will be to Allah the Exalted, regardless of the Surah he reads.
