Last year, we launched the vision and initial pilot project for the Pi Ad Network - where advertisers use Pi to display their ads within the Pi ecosystem and its applications - which was initially launched as a pilot project for five community applications, then developed with these developers. The ad network is the first platform-level application to leverage the collective resources of the Pi network to provide real and organic use cases for the digital Pi currency.

Developers can now apply to join the Pi Ad Network and be part of the first group of Pi applications participating in the pilot program, which are generating and receiving ad revenues. However, the selection criterion is to list the application in the main network ecosystem interface and adhere to the developer ecosystem guidelines.
