🇺🇸 Senator Tim Scott: the cryptocurrency market law will be adopted by August
The head of the Senate Banking Committee stated that Congress will approve two key laws by August:
▶️ On the structure of the cryptocurrency market — will determine who and how regulates exchanges, tokens, and platforms (SEC or CFTC).
▶️ On stablecoins (GENIUS Act) — will establish rules for the issuance of dollar-backed cryptocurrencies.
Scott emphasized that first, we need to "let innovations develop," and then — regulate. Currently, the bills are supported by both Republicans and Democrats.
