Binance Announces Babylon $BABY Its 14th HODLer Airdrop Project

Retroactive $BNB Simple Earn memberships allow users to earn BABY.

April 10 will see Binance list BABY.

Binance revealed its 14th HODLer Airdrop project - Babylon (BABY). Babylon is designed to allow self-custodial BTC staking directly on the Bitcoin network, improving the security of Proof of Stake (PoS) blockchains. The BABY token aims to integrate into the broader ecosystem of digital assets while rewarding BNB holders with token airdrops based on previous snapshots of BNB balances.

Binance Baby HODLer Airdrop Information

The official statement indicated that consumers who subscribed their BNB to Simple Earn (Flexible and/or Locked) and/or On-Chain Yields products between March 7, 00:00 (UTC) and March 12, 23:59 (UTC) would receive the airdrop distribution.

According to the latest data from Binance, there are 10 billion BABY tokens in the Genesis token supply. The inflation rate is set at 8% annually for the first year, with proposals to control the inflation rate starting from the second year. The total HODLer airdrop allocation is 75 million BABY tokens, which represents 0.75% of the total Genesis token supply.

Following the BABY listing on Spot, another 121.6 million BABY tokens will be distributed over the next six months as part of marketing campaigns. After the Binance listing, there will be over 10 billion BABY tokens in circulation, with approximately 2.29 billion BABY tokens (22.9%) becoming part of the circulating supply.

The BABY token will be tagged with the Seed Tag, indicating that the project is still new and may experience higher volatility compared to more established tokens. Binance advises users to be cautious with their investments.
