WHY IS THIS COIN $PAXG ES MORE EXPENSIVE THAN GOLD❓
Why sometimes you see 👀 that PAXG is a bit more expensive than physical gold, and here’s a quick explanation for you to understand: 🔸Per Ounce: Imagine that physical gold costs, let's say, about 3,220 dollars per ounce (today, April 11, 2025). Sometimes, when we buy PAXG, we might see it a little higher, maybe at 3,230 or 3,240 dollars per ounce. That small difference comes from: * The "commission" charged by the website or place where we buy PAXG. * The convenience of having gold digitally. It is much easier to buy, sell, or move PAXG than to have physical bars stored away. That convenience sometimes comes with a small extra cost. * If a lot of people want to buy PAXG at the same time, the price can go up a little, like when something becomes popular. 🔸Per Gram: If we talk in grams, physical gold will be around 103-104 dollars per gram. And PAXG, for those same reasons I told you, could be costing a bit more per gram, maybe a few cents or an extra dollar. ♦️ A troy ounce, which is used to talk about the weight of gold, is equivalent to 31.1035 grams. So, when they say that gold is at a price per ounce, they are referring to that amount of grams. - PAXG and gold are almost the same, but that small price difference we sometimes see is due to the commissions when buying online and the ease of using it digitally. It’s not that it’s much more expensive, it just has those small "extras"! I hope this mini-class of today is helpful! 😉
