The S&P 500 Index closed down 3.5% on Thursday (April 10), erasing some of Wednesday's rebound, indicating that investors' concerns over the U.S.-China trade war and Trump's fluctuating tariff policies remain unresolved.
In addition, there are other worrying signs; in the government bond market, U.S. Treasuries were sold off again, with the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield climbing to around 4.4%, the highest level since February. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index fell more than 4%, with stocks of Apple, Nvidia, and other tech giants declining. Oil prices also dropped, falling below $64 per barrel (about 85 Singapore dollars). The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 2.5%. #CPI数据来袭
