#SecureYourAssets
Don't leave the door of your wallet open!
In the crypto world, security is not a luxury, it is a necessity. From the first day I entered this field, I heard stories about hacks and huge losses, and that made me very cautious about protecting my assets.
These are the most important steps I personally followed:
1. Use a cold wallet (Hardware Wallet) – keeping my assets completely away from the internet, which significantly reduces the chances of hacking.
2. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) – I don't open any crypto account without it, whether on exchanges or wallets.
3. I never share my private keys or secret phrases even with my closest people.
4. I use an email dedicated only to crypto, with a strong and unique password.
How do I follow updates?
I follow cybersecurity accounts specialized in crypto on Twitter.
I read reports from Binance and Cointelegraph when they release information about new threats.
And I join trusted Telegram groups where people follow the latest developments.
Once, someone tried to impersonate technical support from a well-known platform, and was asking for "identity verification" by sending the Seed Phrase. Thank God I was aware and understood it was a scam, and I blocked him immediately.
The most important advice? Treat your digital assets as if they are your money in a private bank – and no one enters this bank but you.
