Binance's Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU) is an emergency insurance fund established in July 2018 to protect users' assets in cases of unforeseen security breaches or hacks. Binance allocates 10% of all trading fees to this fund, which is stored in a secure, separate cold wallet.
