Trump's first run news of his "buy now" pause

Trump provided a lengthy explanation in the post. He stated that China showed "disrespect" for global markets. He said that the new 125% tariff was effective immediately. He added that more than 75 countries had contacted U.S. agencies such as the Department of Commerce, the Treasury, and the U.S. Trade Representative regarding issues related to trade, barriers, tariffs, currency, and non-cash practices. He said those countries did not respond to the United States, so he gave them a temporary deal: a temporary pause at a 10% rate, which is effective now.
