Real Example: Successful Stop-Loss Strategy

Token: $SOL

Entry: $20.50

Technical Stop-Loss: $18.30 (below recent support)

Take-Profit: $25

When the market corrected sharply due to bad macro news (thanks Powell...), $SOL fell to $18.50. Many were liquidated. My technical stop remained out of the noise by $0.20. The next day, $SOL bounced back and hit $26.

Result:

I was not taken out of the trade.

Take-profit activated.

Profit: +26%

Moral: A good stop is not one that is close, it is one that is smart.
