Trump Announces His Special Stop News with "Buy Now

Published President Donald Trump, "This is a great time to buy!!! DJT" on Truth Social four hours ago. At that time, no one outside his team knew what would happen.

Then, minutes later, he dropped another post announcing that the United States would immediately raise its tariffs on China to 125%. The post also stated that there would be a 90-day stop for all other countries, where the tariff would be reduced to 10%.

Trump gave a lengthy explanation in the post. He said that China had shown "disrespect" for global markets. He stated that the new 125% tariff was now in effect. He added that more than 75 countries had contacted U.S. agencies such as the Department of Commerce, the Treasury, and the U.S. Trade Representative regarding issues related to trade barriers, tariffs, currency, and non-cash practices. He said that those countries did not respond to the United States, so he gave them a temporary deal: a temporary stop, at a rate of 10%, as is now in effect.
